Hye-Yun Chung Bennett enamors audiences around the world with her captivating harp and piano performances. She paved the way as the first harp major in her home country of South Korea at Ewha Womans University. She went on to earn her Master’s from Cal State LA, completed her program at the Juilliard School in New York, and studied piano pedagogy by Robert Pace at Columbia University. Debuting at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 1979, she earned rave reviews from the New York Times.
Hye-Yun has been performing and teaching both the harp and piano professionally for over 40 years. Currently residing in the beautiful city of Yokohama, Japan, her undying passion for music continues through teaching and performing for local audiences.
